While Mother Nature may not be dropping huge amounts of snow on the area, the slopes at Winterplace Ski Resort are open and snow-covered. The resort at Ghent was packed with skiers enjoying fresh powder last the week. The resort offers 27 slopes on 90 plus acres with a degree of difficulty to accommodate the skills of most skiers.
